During the Konami Press Start showcase, it was revealed that Bloober Team, the studio behind the recent Silent Hill 2 Remake, is working on a Silent Hill Remake in partnership with Konami.
At the end of the Konami Press Start stream, the team simply revealed an image showcasing the ‘Silent Hill’ title flanked by the caption ‘in development’, and associated the bold remake project with Bloober Team.
Silent Hill Remake Coming from Bloober
In October 2024, Bloober Team released Silent Hill 2, a remake of the harrowing 2001 title that turned heads in the horror gaming space. The remake was a success, taking players back to the titular location and chilling them all over again with a gritty, terrifying story and some grotesque boss battles.
The recent Konami Press Start showcase revealed that Bloober is working on another Silent Hill remake, reassembling the first game from 1999:
However, it was only in the closing seconds of the stream that this information was revealed, and no further details were shared.
In a post on social media, the Silent Hill team shared:
We are currently working with Bloober Team on a remake of Silent hill, which was released for PlayStation in 1999.

Overall good show hope they do more anime games since Bandai won’t. Would love them to take Shonen Jump from Bandai. Are they remaking 1? Hopefully Castlevania Lament Of Innocence gets remade and Bloody Roar 5 happens.
