New Raid Mode For Pokémon TCG Pocket Possibly Leaked

Pokémon TCG Pocket has come a long way since the beginning, and the game is almost unrecognizable with how many new features and modes have been added. A new one looks set to join the adventure.

Hopefully, you’re still enjoying Pokémon TCG Pocket’s B3 Pulsing Aura expansion—gotten any Crown cards yet?

Before we’ve even got wind of the next set, a leak has suggested that the new game mode will have ‘Raid’ qualities, and it sounds peculiar.

X user MAGIKARP has posted details on what they believe to be the next game mode addition to the free-to-play mobile game.

It’s tentatively being labeled as ‘Raid Pack,’ and it sounds…complicated.

Apparently, you and several others join forces in one lobby and open packs together. It requires stamina to do so, and you slowly unveil a special pack to get the goodies inside.

MAGIKARP also adds that the terms ‘Raid Pack,’ ‘Raid Pack Owner,’ and ‘Raid Pack Guest,’ have been discovered, giving more credence to the potential upcoming game mode.

Well, a different sort of Raid mode could be coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket. If it works, it could be a nice novelty away from the pressures of Ranked and the normal opening of Packs.

If it becomes official, rest assured that Insider Gaming will bring you all the details firsthand, and keep checking back for updates on the eventual new expansion sure to drop soon.

What do you think of the leak? Does this mode sound fun? Or is it more unusual than a Tom Jones song? Let us know your thoughts via the Insider Gaming Discord.
