Neverway, the highly anticipated life-simulation RPG, is officially set for launch on PC and Nintendo Switch later this year, but you can try out the game right now.
The Coldblood Inc. title puts players in control of Fiona, who quits her dead-end job and starts over on a farm, where she becomes the immortal herald of a dead god.
Neverway caught our eye ahead of the turn of the year, with 2026 set to be a big one for life simulation fans, and while the release window is still a ways off, a prologue is available to play immediately.
Neverway Releases October 2026, Prologue Available Now
Revealed during the Triple I Initiative showcase, Neverway has an official release window for PC and Nintendo Switch of October 2026.
While that allows fans to start a countdown to the full release, the other big news was the release of the prologue, which is available to play right now on Steam. Check out the trailer below.
Co-directed by the pixel artist of Celeste, Neverway is described as a blend of horror, life sim, and action RPG. Players must keep their lives from falling apart while searching for Neverway, a nightmare reality slowly leaking into yours.
The game includes over 10 players to meet or romance, each with unique routines and storylines, and each bond unlocks buffs and combat abilities to make your journey a little easier.
Alongside top-down, fast-paced combat, Neverway allows for crafting of items, farming, and decorating of the homestead, with time progressing in three blocks, where players choose to advance: morning, afternoon, and evening.
