Developers Accuse Gunzilla Games of Not Paying Salaries For Months

Both current and former employees of Gunzilla Games have spoken out on LinkedIn, alleging that the company has failed to pay salaries for months.

One of the first posts that gained traction was from Talent Acquisition Lead Anna Savina, who took to LinkedIn to claim that Gunzilla Games hasn’t yet paid “significant outstanding debt that covers several months”.

According to Savina, Gunzilla Games is yet to pay some of its staff, with no clear timeline on when the company expects to clear invoices, in addition to the CEO ignoring employees’ requests for information regarding their outstanding wages.

Seemingly, Savina isn’t the only person who has yet to receive payment from Gunzilla Games. In response, Oleksandr Linovichenko, a Principal Hard Surface Artist, wrote, “The same situation. I haven’t received payments for August and September.”

Antron Palii, Senior QA Engineer, responded, “I’m in the exact same situation. Five months without a paycheck. On top of that, at an in-person meeting, when the CEO heard that I wasn’t going to work for the sake of an idea and that I wanted proof that I would be paid, he promised in front of my colleagues to pay me everything and end our working relationship within a day. As you can imagine, they took away all my access and didn’t pay me.”

The replies to the post are, frankly, alarming.

Now retired Senior VFX Animator also added more concerning claims in his own post, saying that, “Gunzilla Games has not paid its employees for many months but still expects them to work. I have personally not been paid since October 2025. Some have had their pay delayed even longer.”

A Struggling Studio

Gunzilla Games has had a few layoffs over the last year or so due to financial difficulties, after its title ‘Off the Grid’, a free-to-play Battle Royale game supported by NFT’s has seemingly not hit the player numbers Gunzilla Games were hoping for.

In early 2025, Gunzilla Games acquired Game Informer magazine and its original editorial team for an undisclosed sum.
