The mobile-only Monster Hunter Outlanders has been given a release window you can pencil in your calendar—October 29, 2026. The official Chinese version is coming a bit later in 2027.
You might have forgotten about Monster Hunter Outlanders! Capcom gave its full blessing to TiMi Studio Group to develop a new mobile title, and after years of development, we finally know when it’s coming worldwide.
Monster Hunter Outlanders Releasing October 29
Outlanders is another typical Monster Hunter title, with the usual hacking and slashing and RPGing you’d expect from any MH release. One key difference is that you can only play this on mobile.
Here’s the official announcement:
‘Thank you for your patience, Adventurers! The official launch date for Monster Hunter Outlanders has been confirmed: October 29, 2026!
*The mainland Chinese version is scheduled to be released from 2027 onwards. On October 29, brand-new hunting and exploration officially begin on Aesoland!

Developer TiMi has an excellent track record of creating mobile titles, handled the development of CoD Mobile and Pokémon Unite, and has its hand in various other games through developing and publishing.
Capcom has given its blessing for the game, but outside of granting licensing rights, likely hasn’t had much interaction with the game’s development. Expect live-service updates and content as you go on countless hunts through the world of Aesoland.
