Marvel’s Wolverine update 1.001.006 lets players disable Whisky Bottle Scent Trails, Material Crate Audio Clues, and Nightmare Door Roots while keeping the senses needed for story progression. The hotfix also fixes crashes and issues in Photo Mode, missions, and visuals.
This follows a previous update that aimed to reduce the overall intensity of Scent Trails. It appears this new update adds even more customization, following complaints that the new Insomniac title was holding players’ hands too much.
Marvel’s Wolverine Patch Fixes Crashes and Senses
In addition to new in-game Senses toggles, the latest update for Wolverine addresses several general crashes. They also fixed issues with Photo Mode and what they call a rare issue where objects turn white after extended play sessions.
Another interesting note: a bathroom sign in a casino has been fixed, which was blamed on a UV mapping issue. Previous issues with this sign led players to question whether the game used AI-generated assets. An Insomniac representative categorically denied the claim and pointed out the mapping issue.
