NateTheHate addresses the lack of a Star Fox game reveal in April 2026.
During his most recent podcast, noted video game leaker NateTheHate shared a lot of information he had been given regarding the immediate future of Nintendo and the games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. One of the most-discussed games to come out of his slew of announcements was a brand-new Star Fox title. According to him, there was a plan to reveal the game in April 2026.
As of this writing, it is Friday, May 1, and no upcoming Star Fox video game has been revealed. Now, Nate is addressing those with questions about what may have happened and where he believes he went wrong.
NateTheHate Believes It Was a Mistake to Hype the Window for Star Fox News
On his Twitter account, Nate addressed several critics. However, when asked whether the game is truly forthcoming, he said he has no doubt about its existence. However, he accepted the blame for sharing a window for potential news, calling it a mistake on his part.
Also, he addressed the possibility that he could have been the target of false information planted by Nintendo insiders to stop leaks. He denied that this was possible, saying that marketing timelines change all the time and that doesn’t necessarily equate to the spreading of false information.

Probably saving it for Summer Direct. More concerned bout that State Of Play he did say he was unsure about that too but you’d think it would happen by now. Hoping for Kingdom Hearts info from Nate and Injustice 3 given it’s still silent hope character leaks come out and it’s not DC KO. If Ed gets caught lying on Injustice 3 and it’s not Injustice 3 this will be worse than MK1 wrap the story up and Don’t listen to NRS stans who want wild guests just because they have no taste and look what they influenced MK1 a flop also they don’t like or get DC we DO NOT want fatalities with DC characters that’s not DC but they don’t read comics.
