Is Elden Ring Nightreign Down Right Now? Server Status Explained

Elden Ring Nightreign is an extremely popular title, and with that comes server issues. If you’re experiencing issues, we’ve got details on how you can check the server status.

The three-player co-operative title relies heavily on connectivity, and Elden Ring Nightreign has raised eyebrows with some aspects of multiplayer lacking, like in-game voice chat.

Whether server issues are planned for maintenance or caused by a bug, we’ve got the details on how you can get to the bottom of what’s going on.

Similar to games like Minecraft, there isn’t an official server status page for Elden Ring Nightreign, so it’s not as easy to check whether issues are on your end or to do with the servers.

Instead, the best way to check for any issues with the Elden Ring Nightreign servers is to check social media platforms like X and Reddit, as news on upcoming server maintenance is often shared ahead of time through official channels.

For example, an announcement for Patch 1.01.1 was made the day before server maintenance began on June 2, informing players that the maintenance period would take around three hours.

Other patches are also announced well in advance, so make sure to keep close eyes on social media to ensure your play sessions are not disrupted and you don’t lose any progress in your adventure.

Whenever server maintenance is taking place, Elden Ring Nightreign is not available to play, so you need to hold your horses and be patient.

Why Do Elden Ring Nightreign Servers go Down?

The main reason for Elden Ring Nightreign’s servers going down is to deploy new patches or updates, so, while Elden Ring Nightreign is not a live-service title, regular patches will take place to fix any issues or introduce any additional content.

Not every downtime is planned, however, and the Elden Ring Nightreign servers may go down due to bugs and connectivity issues, most likely during periods of a huge influx of players—though a launch period with over two million players shows there is a solid foundation of server strength.

You may also encounter issues with Elden Ring Nightreign that are not to do with the game, instead coming from internet problems on your end, or with services like Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

Fortunately, whenever server issues occur, the problems are fixed relatively quickly, so you don’t have to wait too long.
