Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophecy is Naughty Dog’s next upcoming title, with the firm having created an entirely fresh sci-fi universe for players to explore. Not too much is known about the game, and that includes the designated release window for the title, which Naughty Dog is playing close to its chest.
However, in an interview that resurfaced recently, Kumail Nanjiani, who plays a character called Colin Graves in Intergalactic, gave us our best glimpse at a potential release window for the game.
When is Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophecy Coming Out?
In a podcast appearance late last year (which has resurfaced again on social media), Kumail Nanjiani, an actor with MCU chops and a role in Intergalactic, revealed when the title might drop.
He said:
I did do another one that’s going to come out in a couple of years, a Naughty Dog one that’s going to be really, really good.
Nanjiani stressed that he’s ‘always playing games’, but he then stated that acting in them isn’t really for him. Despite that, he has a role in Intergalactic, but looking at the timeline, it might be a small one.
His character, Colin Graves, was revealed during the most recent trailer release for Intergalactic. He’s a part of The Five Aces, a criminal faction in the game that also features Tati Gabrielle’s Jordan A. Mun. It also includes Tony Dalton’s unnamed character.
Given the suggestion that Intergalactic will come out in a couple of years, and the fact that voice acting usually happens later in a game’s development cycle (and with his sentiments about acting in games being clear), it stands to reason that Nanjiani’s involvement in Intergalactic might be pretty small
That’s just conjecture, of course.

PS6 game?
Honestly, if Xbox was more of a threat to Sony, then I would expect Sony to drop a PS6 at the same time as Helix. I really do not see the PS6 coming out until 2028 at the earliest, depending on component prices maybe even a year later. I totally remember at th start of this gen that Sony really didn’t like releasing games they spent hundreds of millions on to a tiny player base. Literally Ratchet n Clank lost money for them. Thats why they went all in on Directors cuts. They will not get the same response trying to sell those same games again at a small performance hike to the same hardcore player base.
Also, even if this game turns into a PS6 game… it will be a cross platform game, like I expect all of there games will end up being, same with Xbox too though.
