How to Sign up for the 2025 World Series of Warzone

The World Series of Warzone is back for another year. Here is everything you need to know about the format and how to sign up for the 2025 season.

In Season 3, Raven Software finally brought back Warzone Ranked Play to a traditional map, instead of Resurgence for the first time in over a year. Besides some cheating concerns, the competitive mode is extremely popular on Verdansk.

Hopefully, you have been getting some reps in because the real competition starts soon.

You can sign up for the 2025 World Series of Warzone on Faceit.

In North America and EMEA, the road to the WSOW Global Final begins on June 20th with the In-Game Open. The tournament uses the same ruleset as the Ranked Play settings.

Registration spots are limited. Each region has a different number of available slots.

  • LATAM S: 220
  • LATAM N: 220
  • NA: 4096
  • EMEA: 4096
  • APAC: 120

Once all of the slots are full, you can no longer sign up. The global competition window for the In-Game Open for NA and EMEA runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM PT (4:00 PM to 10:00 PM UTC) from June 20th – 22nd.

You can play as many matches as you want during the qualification period, but only your top 10 best scores will count toward your team’s score. When the in-game open qualification period ends, the top 100 squads from the two regions will advance to the Group Stage.

APAC, LATAM North, and LATAM qualifiers start on July 5 and 6. Trios must sign up before June 22 to be eligible.

And these regions use a different format.

  • In LATAM North and LATAM South, 200 trios will compete in 3 rounds of custom lobby matchups.
  • In APAC, 100 trios will compete in 2 rounds of custom lobby matchups.

2025 World Series of Warzone format

The top 100 North America and EMEA trios move on to group play. From there, teams are assigned into four different groups, and each group will face each other over the course of two weeks. Every match consists of five different games.

Here is how the upper and lower brackets work.

  • Upper Bracket: The top 25 teams will advance to the Qualifier Finals, while the remaining teams drop into Round 2 of the Lower Bracket.
  • Lower Bracket Round 1: The top 25 teams will move on to Round 2 of the Lower Bracket, while the bottom 25 teams will be eliminated.
  • Lower Bracket Round 2: The top 25 teams will move on to the Qualifier Finals, while the teams placed 26th – 40th will head to the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). The bottom 10 teams will be eliminated.

The Regional Finals determine the top 15 teams from each region, and they all earn a spot in the Global Final. The bottom 35 teams have one more chance in the Last Chance Qualifier.

The WSOW Global Final has a total prize pool of $1 million.
