Warzone Ranked Play Explained
Verdansk Ranked Play has the same format that fans know and love. Trios is the only available squad size in Ranked, and some weapons and equipment items are banned.
All players start in Bronze and earn Skill Rating (SR) to progress through all seven skill divisions, before attempting to earn a spot in the coveted Top-250.
Based on previous Seasons, here are the expected SR requirements for each division.
- Bronze – Starting Division
- Silver – 900 SR
- Gold – 2,100 SR
- Platinum – 3,600 SR
- Diamond – 5,400 SR
- Crimson – 7,500 SR
- Iridescent – 10,000 SR
- Top 250 – 10,000+ SR
Players earn SR by outlasting squads, eliminating opponents, and completing challenges. The amount of SR earned for eliminations will vary depending on the comparison between your rank and your target’s rank.
There are two ways to lose SR in Warzone Ranked Play: Deployment Fees and Death Fees. Every time you search for a match it costs a specifc amount of SR and the price inncreases for higher ranked players.
Death Fees on the other hand are based on the rank of an opponent. If you get killed by an enemy that is higher ranked than you, less SR is lost.
