Warzone Season 3 Reloaded gives players plenty of new content to keep them busy, including a returning POI, a new vehicle, Ranked Play, and more.
Raven Software’s decision to bring back Warzone’s original map, Verdansk, in Season 3 paid dividends. Activision is reportedly very happy with the results, as the battle royale has seen a massive uptick in player count.
And fans don’t need to worry about the map going anywhere, as the devs confirmed that Verdansk will remain in Warzone throughout the rest of 2025. Raven Software also has no plans to rest on its laurels, as the studio is aware of complaints regarding fast time-to-kill speeds and casual mode. Season 3 Reloaded keeps that ball rolling.
Warzone Season 3 Reloaded Early Patch Notes Explained

Moving Train Returns to Verdansk
Starting in Season 3 Reloaded, the train is available again on Verdansk, meaning players can loot it, use it as transportation, and defend it.
The train will use the same track as it did on the original Verdansk and features the same access points for players. Activision has not confirmed whether players will be able to stop the train, as they were able to later in Warzone’s life cycle.
New Vehicle And Other New Gameplay Additions
Activision revealed a few more gameplay changes coming in Season 3 Reloaded.
- High Value Loot Zones: Be a risk taker and search for powerful gear in High Value Loot Zones. Be ready to engage enemy squads eager to compete for the quality loot on hand.
- More Contracts: Track down and eliminate the Operator with the highest number of eliminations when picking up the Big Game Bounty Contract. If you’re looking for a ride, get on board and hold your position with the Train Recon Contract.
- New Vehicle: Mount up for a thrilling ride on the tried-and-true Triumph TF 250-X, already available in Rebirth Island and coming to Verdansk in the mid-season update.
Battle Royale Ranked Play Returns
Ranked Play will be available on Verdansk in Season 3 Reloaded.
Verdansk Ranked Play has the same format that fans know and love. Trios is the only available squad size in Ranked, and some weapons and equipment items are banned.
All players start in Bronze and earn Skill Rating (SR) to progress through all seven skill divisions, all in an attempt to earn a spot in the coveted top-250.
Players earn SR by outlasting squads, eliminating opponents, and completing challenges. The amount of SR earned for eliminations will vary depending on the comparison between your rank and your target’s rank.
Losing matches and poor performances cause you to lose SR. At the end of every season, players earn rewards based on the highest rank they reached during that season.
Two Limited-Time Modes Return
High Trip Resurgence and Massive Resurgence are both back in Season 3 Reloaded.
- High Trip Resurgence: Smoke the competition and power up in the High Trip Resurgence LTM coming to Verdansk. Operators will deploy with one of several predetermined weapons and their fists. To improve your odds, seek out Shades found in supply caches, giving the Operator various boosts , including faster reloads, super speed, and no fall damage.
- Massive Resurgence: Up the competition with support for 120 Operators on Verdansk Resurgence. Stay alive to redeploy fallen squadmates and be ready to engage enemies with greater frequency in this last squad standing battle.
New SMG & Weapon Conversion Kit

The Ladra SMG is a fully automatic SMG that boasts a fast rate of fire, excellent range, and low recoil.
Activision explained, “Combining a high fire rate with excellent range and low recoil, the Ladra SMG can compete with the best even out to the mid-range.”
The Mini-Rocket Conversion for the Goblin Mk2 7.62 adds rocket ammunition to the AR, and splash damage comes at the price of bullet velocity and rate of fire.
