The GTA 6 Trailer Just Hit Two Ridiculous Milestones

Grand Theft Auto 6 remains the most talked-about game in the world despite Rockstar having released nothing more than a short opening trailer for the title in December 2023. Other games might come and go, by GTA 6 is what we’re all waiting for – and it could be just a matter of months until we’re playing it.

Recently, that first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer secured two insane milestones, both of which are representative of the pulling power that this game has – and will continue to have.

And Still

The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has just surpassed 250 million views and 1 million comments since being uploaded on December 4, 2023.

It’s all we have (if you don’t include those old leaks) to indicate what we’re getting in Grand Theft Auto 6, which should-might-maybe launch later this year. We’ll know more about that soon when Take-Two Interactive holds a regularly scheduled earnings call, so stay tuned.

In case you want to add a few more views to the quarter of a billion already secured by the video, here’s the GTA 6 trailer (even though you’ve already seen it ten times):

There’s no indication that Rockstar Games is squaring up to release another trailer anytime soon, but fans are frothing at the bit to see more of the game.

It seems bizarre that Rockstar hasn’t even released more art or even a few screenshots from the game, but why should they? Look at how much hype their marketing strategies have generated thus far.

A quarter of a billion views.

I looked it up, and some estimates suggest that you can earn around $3,000 for a million views on YouTube. That means that Rockstar Games could have racked up almost a million dollars from this trailer alone. That’s staggering.

Let me know in the comments how many times you’ve watched the GTA 6 trailer – and be honest!
