New data confirms that GTA 6’s pre-order sales have jumped to $750 million with just over two weeks left until release.
Players were informed earlier in October that GTA 6 had already generated well over $600 million in revenue just from the pre-orders on PS5 and XBOX Series X/S. Just two weeks later, the number has seen a massive jump, crossing more than $100 million in revenue in just two weeks, and could go higher.
GTA 6 Has Sold Over 7.7 Million Units Across PS5 and XBOX Series Consoles
Analytics firm Sensor Tower reported over $750 million in revenue for GTA 6 as of November 3. The data includes estimated pre-orders, copies sold, and worldwide revenue. The latest update reveals that GTA 6 has already sold 7.71 million units, with 74% sold on the PS5 and 26% on the XBOX Series consoles. Out of the $750 million in revenue, $559 million comes from PS5, with 5.74 million units sold, and $192 million comes from XBOX with 1.97 million units sold.

The data indicates that Rockstar added over $100 million in revenue and sold close to 1.3 million more units in 2 weeks. However, whether the game will be able to reach $1 billion in revenue ahead of its launch is something we will have to wait and see. Another analytics firm (NewZoo) expects the game to generate close to $5.2 billion in revenue in its launch week. Additionally, Rockstar has just announced the official pre-load date and time for the game, which could help boost pre-orders, too.
