Rising from the dead is the Graveyard Keeper franchise, as Lazy Bear Games is finally back with Graveyard Keeper 2. The original became a great success, and while the developer has been working on several games since, the Triple I Initiative was the perfect setting to unveil Graveyard Keeper 2.
The Triple I Initiative focuses on indie games—described by Ben Starr as the lifeblood of the industry, and rightly so. Graveyard Keeper 2 brings back the original medieval sim in deathly new ways!
Graveyard Keeper 2 Emerges From The Ground At Triple I Initiative
Imagine Stardew Valley, but the land is a giant graveyard, and everything potentially wants to bite you, eat you, hurt you, and make you wonder whose great idea it was to manage a graveyard in the first place.
In between fishing and chopping down trees, you’ll also have to deal with corpses, caskets, and combat.
Graveyard Keepers 2 looks to expand upon everything that made the first game such a horrifying hit. The simulation title arrives sometime in 2026, and it will be immediately available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC.
