The developers of Brotato made a brand-new announcement at Triple-i Initiative, revealing that the Primal Dread DLC will arrive this Summer.
Blobfish Games had announced a DLC expansion for Brotato during the 2024 iteration of the Triple-I Initiative. 2 years later, they are back again with a bang, this time unveiling the Primal Dread DLC, which will bring players to fight against the jungle and its inhabitants, which include mecha and mutant dinosaurs.
Brotato Primal Dread DLC Details Revealed
The latest Triple-i Initiative showcase featured a brand new trailer for Brotato’s upcoming Primal Dread DLC. It features all the brand-new potatoes, items, and weapons players can use to defeat the new deadly dinosaur enemies on the fresh map. For those unaware of the game, Brotato is a top-down arena-shooter roguelite developed by Blobfish. Players get to play as a potato who has the ability to wield 6 weapons at a time as he fends off waves of different types of aliens and enemies. The game includes many features, such as auto-firing weapons by default with a manual aiming option, and fast runs that can be completed in under 30 minutes.
There are tons of customizations with dozens of characters (one-handed, crazy, lucky, mage, and many more), along with hundreds of weapons and items like flamethrowers, SMGs, rocket launchers, or sticks and stones. Players can experience this game with friends through local co-op with up to 4 players.
