Gears of War: E-Day Limited Edition XBOX Controller Details Revealed

A reliable insider has revealed details of a Gears of War: E-Day limited edition XBOX wireless controller, called Storm King.

With each new first-party release for Xbox, players receive special items along with the game. We have already seen new controllers for Doom: The Dark Ages and Forza Horizon 6. Now, a new controller is set to be released for “Gears of War: E-Day,” featuring some truly fascinating design elements. Here’s what we know about the controller.

Gears of War: E-Day Limited Edition XBOX Controller ‘Storm King’ Price and Design Details Revealed

The details of the Storm King Gears of War: E-Day Limited Edition XBOX Controller come from billbil-kun’s Dealabs report. Through verification, the insider has been able to verify the official name, pricing, and design details of the controller. In terms of pricing, Storm King will cost the same as the Forza Horizon 6 controller, which was priced at $89.99/£84.99/€89.99. The design elements are where all the fun is.

The design of the controller features “cracked black and red textures,” resembling the appearance of “fissured volcanic rock.” There is a noticeable distinction between the two halves of the controller: the left half has a black joystick, while the D-pad, Xbox buttons, View, Menu, and Share buttons are rendered in blood red. These elements are encircled by the Crimson Omen, the iconic Gears of War logo that combines a cog and a skull, also in blood red.

The other half of the joystick features the right joystick and the ‘X’ button in the same blood red color, and the ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘Y’ buttons have been made black to create the distinction. At the moment, the release date is unknown; however, the announcement is expected to arrive within the next two weeks.
