Fortnite is known for having handy Power Hour windows, and it seems one is coming for Pirate Shop Tokens in Fortnite, with everyone scrambling to get one.
Is there a better way to boost player engagement than by having a Power Hour for one of the most sought-after items in the history of Fortnite? Pirate Shop Tokens are all anyone is talking about in Fortnite, and a Power Hour could be just what the doctor ordered.
When is Fortnite Pirate Token Treasure Power Hour?
A leak suggests Fortnite’s first Power Hour for the Pirate Token is coming at some point during the current season, but there are no precise details on when.
The first bit of good news is out at least: There should be Power Hours for the Pirate Token. Even if it only marginally increases the odds, it’s still better than the current drop rate, which is practically zero.

Here’s what one of Fortnite’s biggest leakers (Hypex) said:
‘FORTNITE PIRATE SHOP POWER HOURS ARE COMING LATER THIS SEASON.’
Leaks and dates are usually discovered well in advance, so when it’s happening, you should have ample warning before the official announcement is made by Epic.

What is Power Hour in Fortnite?
A Power Hour is when the chances of getting a certain item or drop are increased for a limited period, and in this case, it would mean your chances of acquiring a Pirate Token are slightly better than they would be.
We’ve all seen the probability figures floating around. While Epic hasn’t confirmed anything, some people believe the odds of getting a Pirate Token are as long as 700,000 to 1.

Even if the Fortnite Power Hour for the Pirate Token brings this down to 200,000 or 300,000 to 1, it’s better than before, right? The copium is hitting hard right now, I must admit.
The fact is, this is supposed to be a rare occurrence, and wouldn’t make financial sense for Epic to start giving everyone hundreds of dollars of free cosmetics.
Hopefully, we get more than one Power Hour, and they last a decent amount of time.
