The Five Nights at Freddy’s x Fortnite crossover launches October 1, 2026, alongside Fortnitemares.
Epic Games shared the news in a social media trailer confirming Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria and teasing cosmetics based on Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.
It’s almost showtime! The Fazbear Band has taken over Battle Royale. Face the animatronic animal bosses and survive the night… if you can. Fortnitemares begins October 1!
Fortnite’s FNAF Event Adds Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria
Noted leaker HYPEX shared more details, saying the skins are likely reactive throughout gameplay. They also noted that every skin in the lineup has withered, battle-damaged alternates.
The trailer also teases a dedicated game mode built around the Five Nights at Freddy’s IP, where players try to survive a night shift at Freddy Fazbear’s pizzeria. HYPEX also suggests that part of this crossover will allow you to turn into the FNAF bosses and hunt players.
Epic Games has yet to confirm any dedicated Five Nights at Freddy’s game modes, but the long-awaited crossover is officially confirmed. Other rumors for this year’s Halloween season include Chucky likely being a big part of Fortnite, as well as everyone’s favorite very nice and very evil WWE Superstar, Danhausen.
