Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Story Moment Key Art Teases Tetris & Crash Bandicoot

Fortnite fans around the world are gearing up towards the seasonal transition into Chapter 7 Season 4, and Epic Games continues to tease the major changes on the horizon.

Leaks have already revealed the next Fortnite season is themed on gaming legends, bringing a host of recognizable franchises into the mix, and in the key art for the Story Event ahead of the seasonal change, two major hints have been discovered.

This weekend, ahead of the seasonal shift on August 20, Epic Games is introducing the latest Story Event to Fortnite, tying into next season’s shift, and keyart for the event features not-so-subtle references to two gaming giants.

On the right-hand side of the image, as seen above, falling blocks are shown, an obvious hint to Tetris, a franchise that has previously been leaked to be involved.

The right-hand side of the image also shows an orange block amongst the bushes, with a yellow question mark, tying to Crash Bandicoot.

It will be interesting to see how both fit into Fortnite, as Tetris doesn’t have an obvious way to be incorporated, while Crash Bandicoot’s sizing means the most likely tie-in would be as a Sidekick.

It’s not the first major teaser to come from Epic Games either, as the Wonkeeland POI previously had the iconic Pac-Man music playing, though it was later removed.

More teasers and leaks are likely to emerge in the build-up to this weekend’s Story Event and the switch into Chapter 7 Season 4, which is expected to be the final full-length season of the year.
