Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, officially called Override, will kick off on Thursday, August 20.

After several months in the current season, Fortnite is transitioning into the next slew of content, which is set to be the last full-length season of the chapter.

Similar to last year, which ended in The Simpsons’ mini-season, a shorter season will see out Chapter 7, though this is yet to be confirmed officially.

The table below outlines the expected start of downtime for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, based on previous updates, but Epic Games may provide a more precise timescale. We’ll update the article if that is the case.

What to Expect in Fortnite Next Season

Fortnite’s next chapter is set to be full of major collabs, with the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog, Crash Bandicoot, Persona, Pac-Man, and more officially revealed.

Alongside a new Battle Pass and a shake-up to the map, players can expect the usual transition of new weapons, items, and more to gather in-game.

The Sprite system introduced this season will remain, with a host of new Sprites already revealed, so there’s something for everyone to sink their teeth into.

Full details will be revealed by Epic Games closer to launch, so keep your eyes peeled for official announcements in the build-up to the new season.
