Attention in Fortnite is shifting towards the next season, and players have already uncovered a huge teaser for what Epic Games has cooking.
The next season in Fortnite is now just a few weeks away, kicking off mid-August, and while there’s plenty still to come before the seasonal transition, preparations for the next slew of major content have begun.
While the contents of next season have already been revealed by some significant leaks, Epic Games is now teasing fans with what to expect with hidden clues inside Fortnite.
Fortnite Tease For New Season Uncovered
Posted on X by ShiinaBR, Fortnite players have discovered a teaser for the next season at the Wonkeeland POI, which features an iconic tune.
Players have discovered the Pac-Man theme music is played at Wonkeeland in the game, dropping the biggest hint yet that the iconic yellow gaming icon is coming to Fortnite next season.
Leaks had already revealed that Pac-Man would be present in the season, which is themed around gaming legends, alongside the likes of Sonic, Persona, and Mega Man.
It’s still unclear how Pac-Man would tie into the game, as it doesn’t seem like an easy fit for a skin or a weapon, but Epic Games has proven itself to be the master of collabs and fitting everything together.
The teaser’s location at Wonkeeland may also be a hint that the POI is set for a refresh next season, which wouldn’t be the first time the location has been tweaked for a collab.
Earlier this year, during the South Park collab, Wonkeeland was transformed into Cartmanland, and a potential Pac-Man makeover would be an interesting prospect.
Perhaps the grindable rails at the location could be tweaked to transform you into Pac-Man, and you move around collecting the white dots for loot?
Who knows, but there isn’t too much longer to wait, with just a few more weeks until the latest seasonal shift in Fortnite, which will bring around the penultimate season of the chapter.
