FaZe Clan has unveiled a new academy roster for Rainbow Six as part of its new academy esports programme.
On April 14, the org unveiled its FaZe Up Next academy initiative but didn’t reveal many details other than promising to usher in a ‘new generation of FaZe Esports.’
Rainbow Six came as a surpirse to some, with angry Counter-Strike fans demanding an update following the shocking departure of IGL karrigan to Team Falcons.
FaZe has what is essentially the Rainbow Six world champions after its all-Brazilian roster won the Six Invitational earlier this year.
This was the second year in a row that FaZe won the Six Invitational and was the third consecutive year they made the final.
Now, to support that roster and the organisation’s future, FaZe has picked up a lot of promising talents from the second tier of Brazilian Rainbow Six Siege esports.
The FaZe Up Next R6 roster is:
- Hurbyz
- Hax
- Felpsz
- Vinicius ‘Lendao’ Siqueira
- Jonathas ‘Jow’ Pinto
- Rules (Coach)
Some Rainbow Six esports fans may recognise the name Jow as he previously played for 9z Team. There, he played against FaZe during the South America League 2025, though his team finished last.
Following the announcement, coach Rules tweeted out about his excitement and thanked members of FaZe:
“Very excited to start this new project and grateful for the opportunity, especially to RafadeLL and Ivan Roichman who did everything to make it happen and bring this idea off the paper! Grateful to represent such a great organization. I’m ready to give my best.”

Meanwhile, the main FaZe roster will be competing at the upcoming BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City tournament.
