Team Heretics has announced that French jungler Théo ‘Sheo’ Borile has stepped down from the LEC roster and is now a substitute.
In place of Sheo, Heretics has promoted Kacper ‘Daglas’ Dagiel from its academy team for his second LEC stint.
The League of Legends team finds itself rooted to the bottom of the LEC standings after five consecutive best-of-three defeats.
Heretics now has little chance of qualifying for the LEC Spring Playoffs and is without the jungler it built its 2026 roster around.
Sheo and support Paul ‘Stend’ Lardin were the only players who stayed with the org from last year, but now both are gone after just four months.
Heretics was the only LEC team to make roster changes between Winter and Spring, trading Stend to the Turkish team Misa Esports for Korean pro Han ‘Way’ Gil.
Meanwhile, according to the organisation, Sheo himself requested that he be put on the bench indefinitely.
Team Heretics Statement on LEC roster changes
Team Heretics released a statement announcing this news, revealing this decision followed a team meeting after Heretics were dominated 2-0 by Karmine Corp.
“Yesterday, the coaching staff met with the players to evaluate recent performances and establish how to move forward for the rest of the season
“Today and following that meeting, player Théo ‘Sheo’ Borile has informed the coaching staff of his wish to step down to the bench indefinitely. The coaching staff accepted his request.”
The Heretics statement then bigged up Daglas’ credentials as a suitable replacement:
“Daglas has spent two seasons representing Heretics Academy in the Superliga and the LES, winning a Superliga title with us and reaching the final of the EMEA Masters.
“He will play today’s LES match and then travel to Berlin to join the team. We would like to thank him for his availability and willingness to step up with such short notice.”
Meanwhile, all Daglas had to say about the change was “Déjà vu”, as this isn’t his first mid-season roster change.
Back in 2023, then-17-year-old Daglas was starting in the LEC for Vitality. Yet, despite showing a lot of promise, he was demoted to the academy halfway through the year.
Now Daglas is on the other side of the coin, getting another opportunity to prove himself, but under rather difficult circumstances.

It has been a dramatic week for European League of Legends, as the LEC was forced to issue an apology for airing an inappropriate message.
