The Esports Foundation has announced that it has partnered with France Télévisions to make the broadcaster an official French Media Partner of the Esports World Cup 2026.
The Esports World Cup 2026 moved from Riyadh to Paris following ongoing conflicts and travel restrictions in the Middle East.
Now the EWC has partnered with France’s national public broadcaster to release a highlights show called “La Minute EWC” at 9pm on France 4 and late-night on France 2 on TV and online on france.tv.
The program will be broadcast every day for seven weeks, starting Tuesday, July 7 and ending with the final on August 23.
The highlights show will be produced by N.E.O (New Esports Org), who brokered the deal and are also overseeing the return of League of Legends Game Changers Rising.

Esports World Cup Viewership
According to the Esports Foundation, EWC 2025 reached more than 750 million viewers globally.
The multi-game event generated over 350 million hours watched with a peak concurrent audience of just under eight million.
Last year’s EWC was distributed across 28 platforms through 97 different broadcast partners. This led to broadcasts across more than 800 channels, in 35 different languages, and to audiences in 140 different countries.
Along with this new France Télévisions partnership, the Esports Foundation has also opened EWC co-streaming applications with $2m in prizes.
“France is one of the countries that helped shape modern esports,” said Mohammed Al Nimer, chief commercial officer at the Esports Foundation.
“Through France Télévisions, audiences across the country will be able to follow the stories, rivalries and defining moments of EWC every day on national television. Our ambition is to help esports become one of the world’s biggest sports, and that starts by making its greatest moments accessible to everyone,” he added.
