The Esports Foundation has announced the Creator Program for the Esports World Cup 2026 with $2 million in prizes.
Last year’s iteration featured over 3,500 co-streamers, and applications are once again open for content creators.
This year, co-streamers can earn points and climb a leaderboard for completing challenges and streaming longer to earn rewards.
With $2m worth of rewards, the Esports Foundation hopes to attract over 5,000 creators this year.
Any streamer can apply, as long as they can stream in 720p or higher and agree to no third-party sponsorships during the co-streams.
The following platforms will be eligible for Esports World Cup co-streaming:
- Global
- Twitch
- YouTube
- TikTok
- Kick
- SOOP
- China
- BiliBili
- Huya
- DouYu
- Kuaishou
- CHZZK
Wasae Imran, director of broadcast & distribution at the Esports Foundation, spoke about the importance of co-streaming to the esports ecosystem:
“Across music, video, news and sport, audiences don’t just watch what they’re given anymore. They choose their own experience: what to watch, where to focus, and how deep to go.
“The Creators Program is how we build for that, by enabling the growth of creators that fans already trust to carry the world’s biggest esports event into every community.”
Esports World Cup Co-Streaming Rewards

According to the Esports Foundation, content creators will be able to progress through a Battle Pass that unlocks rewards for both themselves and their communities.
The rewards announced so far are:
- EWC pin
- EWC luggage tag
- Digital gift cards
- Headphones holder

- PlayStation 5
- OBSBOT webcam
- Trip for two to EWC
- Esports Nations Cup invite

Creators can earn these rewards through hours broadcast, hours watched, completed missions, points accumulation, and leaderboard performance during EWC events.
The last point suggests there could be leaderboards for each EWC title.
