According to a new report by Eurogamer, EA will launch Dragon Age: Dreadwolf by the end of this fiscal year, March 31, 2025.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is the next, long-waited installment in the hit fantasy RPG series. The latest installment was Dragon Age: Inquisition, which launched as far back as 2014. It earned a range of awards and consistently high ratings among critics.
Previous rumors in March 2024 claimed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf could release by late 2024. Those claims came via Jeff Grubb on Game Mess.
That does partially line up with the claims from Eurogamer’s new source. But it seems that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf could launch a bit later than that if it arrives in March.
The news comes shortly after EA released its latest financial report, which mentioned some unannounced projects. Eurogamer reports that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is one of them, while the other is a partner title “expected in Q4.” Fans can only speculate on the potential partner title.
Last year, the dev team officially announced that they will reveal Dragon Age: Dreadwolf in full sometime in summer 2024.
BioWare hasn’t revealed much about the game, except a brief cinematic trailer in December. It confirmed that Thedas is the next location for the new game. However, fans did get to scrutinize some leaked gameplay and images.
At this time, BioWare has not confirmed a concrete release date or window for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
