A good FPS game usually goes down in history with a solid campaign. They seem to be getting shorter, but it’s always better than nothing. Let’s see if Delta Force has a campaign to go with its multiplayer options.
Let’s put Delta Force aside for one second: The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare campaign is my favorite ever. Even the OG Modern Warfare 2 was a close second. Battlefield has also thrown up its fair share of memorable moments—Bad Company and Bad Company 2, anyone?
It’s been Team Jade’s turn to deal out some fast-paced first-person shooter action in recent times. Delta Force has been a huge success, breaking Steam records, and Season 5 proving to be a big moment in the game’s lifecycle. With all that said, we need to see if Delta Force has a campaign to put the finishing touches on this package.
Is There a Campaign in Delta Force?

Delta Force has a fully fledged campaign called ‘Black Hawk Down’.
Months after Delta Force’s online multiplayer had had time to breathe, Team Jade launched a complete campaign for the game. It features various missions where you become a Delta Force soldier.
It initially launched as a multiplayer-only story. However, after continuous calls for a solo mode, the Season 5 update has made it so it can be enjoyed in single-player. You can travel alone as a lone operative and take on the gauntlet of tough missions.
Be warned: One of the biggest criticisms of the Black Hawk Down content is that it’s hard! It’s almost not even recommended for solo players, but if you’re brave and beastly enough, anything is possible.
How Much Does Delta Force Black Hawk Down Campaign Cost?
The Black Hawk Down campaign is free and can be downloaded at any time for no cost on PC—and later PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Steam users can download the full campaign free of charge from the Steam store. Once the PlayStation and Xbox console ports are out, owners will also be able to play the story missions free of charge.
Delta Force is currently a free-to-play experience across the board. Just make sure you have room for all the content.
We’ve, hopefully, given you some good news today. You can enjoy a premium campaign at no cost. It’s surprising in today’s climate of shooters, and it could be an eye-opener for Call of Duty, Battlefield, and other competitors. Have you had a chance to play the Delta Force campaign yet? Let us know if you have—or if you intend to—through the Insider Gaming forum.
