Crossplay is an essential tool for matchmaking, queue times, and variety. With Delta Force being one of the leading shooters on the market, we’re here to see if it supports crossplay across its available platforms.
Delta Force has taken the FPS scene by storm. It’s free to play (which makes it accessible), it has free story content, and it retains thousands of players each day. You all continue to log in and support the shooter, but its crossplay status is a question that keeps coming up for many reasons.
So, let’s shoot down any doubts with our crossplay explainer for you.
Is There Crossplay in Delta Force?
Delta Force currently doesn’t support crossplay as the shooter is only available on PC.
We finally learned Delta Force’s console version release date in June 2025. This is great news for anyone desperate to enjoy the shooter on big screens with PS5 and Xbox controllers, but it means console players have to miss out; also, PC users can only be matched up against users on the same platform.
With no PS5 or Xbox players, it’s currently PC vs PC for now.
Which isn’t ideal as cheaters continue to run rampant in the FPS title. On the plus side, we know crossplay is happening (courtesy of the Delta Force website) once the console port is out: “Console and PC players can squad up and battle wherever they want—truly unlimited warfare!“
Does Delta Force Have Cross-Progression?
There is no official cross-progression or cross-platform support for Delta Force right now, but it is coming once the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game are released.
Like Crossplay, because there’s only a PC version right now, there’s no need for any cross-platform save data function. It’s definitely on the way as it was confirmed by the Delta Force website again: “Cross-platform data sync means your progress carries over seamlessly—register once, play everywhere.“
In short, if you’ve played Delta Force on PC and want to carry your progress over to PS5, you can. As long as your Delta Force account is connected, you should be able to resume where you left off on a different platform, and vice versa.
