Team Jade is ready to throw Delta Force Season 5 Break into the mix. Its long-awaited release date and start time bring new content, ways to take down enemies, and big changes to the Campaign.
Delta Force is a literal force of nature right now. The first-person shooter is breaking Steam records and bringing in big numbers. With the shooter set to expand its growing empire with a console release on PS5 and Xbox, the only way is up!
Season 5’s ‘Break’ makes big changes to Delta Force, so let’s check out everything on the way.
Delta Force Season 5 Break Release Date

Delta Force Season 5’s ‘Break’ content is being injected into the game on July 9.
The official Delta Force X account gave us all the date we were craving on June 20. Unless something drastically changes, I expect this to stay as the confirmed date, and after some downtime (presumably), the new season will get underway.
Hop on the Jet Ski and make a splash with your squad in the new warfare map Cyclone on July 9th!
Delta Force Season 5 Break Start Time
Based on previous Delta Force season start times, it’s looking like it could be a 2 AM UTC start—but this could easily change.
Start times could be influenced by a number of factors. However, we’ve pulled this data because of other Delta Force seasons. If this changes, or Team Jade releases more exact start time information, we’ll update this page.

All New Delta Force Season 5 Break Features
Season 5 Break is advertising new maps, the introduction of fully-fledged water-based combat, a Collection System, and much more in Delta Force.
Let’s run through the key additions to Delta Force Season 5.
Campaign Solo Mode
The Black Hawk Down campaign is tough, to say the least. Even though it’s free, it’s received a ton of criticism for being too difficult. This could all change with Delta Force Season 5 Break, as you can make it even more difficult!
The update finally adds a Solo Mode. If you’re sick of queueing up and waiting for other players, you can finally tackle the campaign missions solo—if you dare.
Collection System
Team Jade has added a new room where you can show off your proudest cosmetics: Skins, Charms, and your finest gacha-based goodies. With many shooters content to let a player’s assortment of gear rot away in menus, Delta Force will let you highlight these flashy flourishes.
Maps
Deltas Force Season 5 introduces Cyclone and Prison to the selection of maps.
Cyclone is a full 32v32 map featuring Jet Skis, big boats, and a complete emphasis on water combat. Swimming, using the water to flank opponents, and much more make this one of the most varied maps to date. It leans more into the Battlefield side of things and could give Battlefield 6 a run for its money.
Prison requires you and your teammates to work together, find loot, and locate the randomly-assigned exit on the map. It’s a fascinating blend of puzzles and extraction-based mechanics. The originality highlights why Delta Force continues to remain so popular.
Operator
Tempest AKA Claire Ann Byers is the new Operator arriving in Break. You’ve likely seen the new red-haired assassin plastered across the game’s adverts and marketing for season five.
She’s a nimble and mobile Operator with lots of aggressive abilities and equipment, such as her Tactical Roll and Auxiliary Spine Surge—giving her a huge boost of speed.
Expect a ton of tweaks, fixes, and quality of life improvements on top of all of this. Delta Force Season 5 should be one of the most exciting Team Jade has put out. How excited are you for Season 5 Break? Let us know through the Insider Gaming forum.
