What’s New in Grow a Garden Prehistoric Update?
The Prehistoric Update was released in Grow a Garden on July 5, introducing a wealth of dinosaur-themed content, cosmetics, and activities to Grow a Garden, the game with tens of millions of players.
Here’s what’s new in the Prehistoric Update:
Grow a Garden Dino Quests Event
The latest event in Grow a Garden requires players to complete daily quests to earn exclusive dinosaur-themed rewards, including a string of exclusive cosmetics. The quests are relatively simple and mostly revolve around planting certain seeds, but the rewards are more than worth the grind.
If you complete the full event, you’ll unlock the grand prize from The Garden Game – the Bone Blossom.
Dinosaur Trading
If you’re tired of your Pets in Grow a Garden, you can head over to Graham, the mad scientist, who will accept your Pets and help you grow your first dinosaurs. I’ll explain more below how that works.
Fresh Merchants
Two new merchants have been introduced to Grow a Garden with the Prehistoric Update. First, there’s a Bee Merchant, who offers honey-themed items in exchange for pollinated fruits. There’s also Georgia, a Summer Merchant who sells the seeds unlocked in the recent Summer Update.
New Seeds in Grow a Garden
The newest seeds in Grow a Garden are all based around the Prehistoric Update:
- Stonebite
- Paradise Petal
- Horned Dinoshroom
- Boneboo
- Firefly Fern
- Fossilight
These seeds can be obtained from the new Ancient Seed pack. The rarest seed in the pack is the Fossilight, which has just a 0.5% chance of spawning. Conversely, the Stonebite seed is the most common.
Beware the Sandstorm
There’s a new weather event that can impact your garden in Grow a Garden, and it’s the ‘sandstorm’. Be aware of it – it can cause nasty mutations and spoil a lot of your hard work.
