We’re here today very simply to let you know if Ready or Not has Early Access, and if Void Interactive’s psychologically-testing shooter offers this useful incentive.
Even though it’s usually a cynical practice to extort more money from gamers, pre-release Early Access windows are a great way to play games you’re desperate for. Ready or Not, for instance, has a fervent audience that has demanded a console port for the longest time.
The Ready or Not console release date draws close. This still isn’t enough for blood-hungry players. Early Access is the call, so before I get locked in a room and used as negotiation fodder, here’s the latest on Ready or Not’s early access status.
Can You Play Ready or Not on Console Early With Early Access?

There is officially no early access option for Ready or Not’s console release, as Void Interactive hasn’t provided one.
If you’re on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S and waiting for the FPS to go live, you have to wait until July 15 like everyone else!
There are some alternative Ready or Not editions to consider. They come with bonuses, including weapons and post-launch DLC missions and content. Nowhere does the pre-order bonuses mention early access, and this is usually a headline bonus for pre-order bundles.
Is There Any Way to Play Ready Or Not Early?
You can play Ready or Not if you have a PC capable of playing it.
Yes, the only way to play Ready or Not before its PlayStation and Xbox console release is to get stuck into it on Steam. It launched in proper early access for testing back in 2021, before the developer and publisher commissioned the full release in December 2023.
There’s still time to get your licks on PC, and it’s cheaper. If you’re not interested in PC playtime, you’d better start marking off the days on your nearest calendar for the simultaneous PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Ready or Not remains one of the most controversial first-person shooter games out there. This is before you even consider the game’s censorship controversy, which has drawn the ire of players.
