The ever-controversial Ready or Not has retained a consistent pool of players since launch. It’s played havoc on PC, and everyone else is clamoring to get in on the bloody action. Let’s see if Ready or Not is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch platforms.
Chances are, if you like FPS games, you’ve heard of Ready or Not. Its unique twist is the brutal nature of its SWAT-oriented, hostage-taking, terrorism-fueled scenarios. It may be violent, but it’s very popular, and a Ready or Not port for PlayStation, Xbox, and/or PC is requested.
Unless Void Interactive wants to be held hostage by players, it would be wise to deliver fresh ports.
Can You Play Ready or Not on PS5?
Ready or Not will be playable on PlayStation 5 consoles from July 15.
Early access for the game began in 2021. It officially came out in December 2023, and it’s remained that way ever since. However, after a long time in development and an endless torrent of requests from fans, a Ready or Not PS5 port is finally happening.
It won’t be on PlayStation 4, though, but PS5 users can sample the tense shootouts for themselves.
Can You Play Ready or Not on Xbox Series X|S?
An Xbox Series X|S Ready or Not console version is also releasing the same day as the PS5 port.
It’s a glorious day for PlayStation and Xbox owners. Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are receiving a Ready or Not platform port, and it’s looking to bring the full game with them—well, sort of.
There has been major controversy surrounding censorship changes to the game. These changes alter the original product, and it’s left PC owners understandably furious about the decision.
If you’ve never played or seen the game until now, you won’t know any different!
Can You Play Ready or Not on Nintendo Switch?
Unfortunately, both Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2 owners must miss out on a Ready or Not console release.
It’s no surprise the Switch 1 isn’t getting the love, but the power of the Nintendo Switch 2 and its superior hardware capabilities might’ve left some room for doubt. Those doubts have been well and truly slammed down harder than a SWAT unit taking down a terrorist group.
You can’t rule out a future launch, but for now, it’s just coming to PlayStation and Xbox.
