Black Ops 2 Update Improves PS5 Zombies Hosting and Performance

Updates have been released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The Call of Duty Updates Twitter feed reports that multiple new updates are now available for the recently released Port of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Among these five updates, the developers have reduced input delay on 120Hz+ displays. Additionally, Zombies matches will now prioritize PS5 hosts, no longer defaulting to PS4 hosts.

They have also improved mid-match lobby backfilling, fixed the smoke grenade VFX, and added a toggle to view or hide other players’ custom emblems in the Multiplayer options menu. By default, custom emblems remain visible.

Lastly, the team stated that they are investigating a fix for instances in which certain accounts have been set to incorrect prestige levels.
