Fans have begun showing up at EA offices to place memorials for fallen studios such as BioWare, Bullfrog, Visceral, and more.
For those unaware, EA made a major announcement last month that shocked many fans: the closure of BioWare and the cancellation of the upcoming Mass Effect title. Since then, a petition has already begun to save the franchise, and now fans have also begun showing up in person to pay their respects.
Mass Effect Fans Place Memorials and Graffiti on EA Office Walls
Spotted by GamesRadar+, a post on r/gaming shows a post of multiple tombstones outside EA’s offices for studios that have been shut down in recent times, including BioWare, Bullfrog, Pandemic, Origin, Visceral, Maxis, and Westwood. The memorial tombstones feature the studios’ names, their tenure, a famous quote from them, and R.I.P. written on top. They are placed right next to a massive, glowing ‘EA’ logo.
Moreover, a user from Spain also posted about something that happened near the EA offices in Madrid. It seems some fans have graffitied #SaveMassEffect across the office walls and the pavement leading to it. Many fans in the comments section have criticized using vandalism to spread the message.

For those unaware, it was revealed just a couple of days ago that the upcoming Mass Effect title was canceled in favor of Star Wars Battlefront 3, as EA felt that the latter was “less risky”.
