A new report states that Days Gone developer Bend Studio will announce and possibly release its next game in 2027.
Earlier this year, players saw animations from a project called ‘Mirror Pond‘ surfacing online, which was speculated to be Bend Studio’s canceled live service title. The game in question today is different and seems to be a third-person co-op game, with no live service or games-as-a-service (GaaS) intentions.
Bend Studios Title Could Possibly Release in 2027 and Is Not a Live Service Game
According to a report from MP1ST, Bend Studio is set to announce their upcoming game next year. The game will be a third-person title and will include co-op elements; however, the studio has decided to move away from a live service and Games as a Service (GaaS) model.
The report also clarifies that this new title will not be a sequel to Bend Studio’s popular game, Days Gone, but it has not been confirmed whether it will be a new IP. Additionally, the studio is aiming for a 2027 release window; however, that could change. Lastly, it seems to be “much further along in development” than people would expect.
