Bdd and PerfecT Re-Sign for KT Rolster Through 2028

LCK organization KT Rolster has announced that Gwak ‘Bdd’ Bo-seong and Lee ‘PerfecT’ Seung-min have re-signed with KT Rolster through 2028.

The Mid and Top Laners re-signed for the Korean organization despite a strugglesome year for the team, which saw the roster miss League of Legends Worlds 2026.

Bdd re-signs with KT Rolster despite season of regression

The Mid-Laner earned wide acclaim for his performances in 2025, winning the LCK Player of the Year Award at the LCK Awards in December of last year.

Bdd was chosen over Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, Jeong ‘Chovy’ Ji-hoon, and Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyung for the award, despite the team success of both T1 and Gen.G outstripping KT’s success, but that was simply reflective of how much impact Bdd had on that KT Rolster team, carrying the roster for much of the year.

The Mid-Laner was central to KT Rolster’s historic Worlds 2025 run that saw the roster finish second, losing to T1 2-3 in the Grand Final of Worlds after delivering the upset of the tournament by defeating Gen.G in the semi-finals.

However, as the 2025 season ended, the roster lost its Bot-Support duo of Seo ‘doekdam’ Dae-gil and Jeong ‘Peter’ Yoon-su, thus deflating the expectations for the KT Rolster team in 2026.

In 2026, the roster suffered a mixed, but generally regressing, year that saw several changes to the Bot Lane, largely due to the org experimenting with the promotion of KT Challengers players in the hopes of securing a better lane.

The Bot Lane now consists of former KT Challengers player Lee ‘Effort’ Sang-ho alongside Jung ‘Jiwoo’ Ji-woo, who joined KT in a swap deal after the controversial exit of Kim ‘Aiming’ Ha-ram after “internal conflicts” inside the KT roster.

KT’s disrupted season saw them miss out on Worlds 2026 after losing to Dplus KIA in the LCK Playoffs. As a result, the team is currently competing in the Demacia Cup Global Invitation, where they had advanced to the Playoffs.
