Official Battlefield social media platforms have confirmed the start of Battlefield 6 Season 1. Not only do we know the release date, but we’ve been given details on Season 1’s roadmap content, including maps, modes, guns, and much more.
Getting the first roadmap for a new online multiplayer title is massive. It’s the incentive to keep you playing for the next few weeks, knowing big things are coming. In Battlefield 6‘s case, this is the chance to land the first major blow in the year-long Battlefield 6 vs Black Ops 7 war.
Battlefield 6 Season 1 marks the first injection of post-launch content, and we’ve got everything you need to know right here.
When Does Battlefield 6 Season 1 Start? Release Date, Explained

You can expect Battlefield 6 Season 1 to start on October 28, and its content will be drip-fed through three individual releases.
Season 1 starts 18 days after the game’s official launch. As there is no early access, everyone starts on a level playing field—unless you played the beta, of course! From the October 10 launch, we all have nearly three weeks to see what the full Battlefield 6 experience is all about.
Previous Battlefield (and CoD titles) have been known to delay initial seasons. Stay tuned for potential BF 1 Season 1 delays as late obstacles could temporarily halt the season’s anticipated debut.
