Fortnite players have been squashing bugs for over a month now, with attention starting to shift towards the next content drop, and we’ve got all the details on the Chapter 6, Season 5 release date.
Regular content shifts in Fortnite have helped the game to retain a status as one of the most popular around the world, alongside huge collabs bringing the likes of Dino Megazord into the game.
Before attention shifts to Chapter 7 and 2026, Fortnite has one last big bang in Chapter 6 Season 5, and we’ve got all the release date information.
When Does Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 5 Release?
Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 5 is expected to begin on Saturday, November 1st, although the date is yet to be officially announced by Epic Games.
A countdown in the in-game Battle Pass indicates that the current Shock ‘N Awesome season will end on the above date, with the exact timings to be confirmed closer to the release date.
The bigger question, however, is what Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 5 will officially be called, as it’s expected to be another month-long mini-season like the Star Wars mini-season earlier this year. That was officially called Chapter 6: MS1 – Galactic Battle, so we expect this season to be titled Chapter 6: MS2.
What’s Coming in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 5?
The next season in Fortnite Chapter 6 is expected to be a mini one, and will bring an end to the entire Chapter, with Chapter 7 due in early December.
Back in May, leaks first emerged suggesting that the penultimate content drop of Chapter 6 would be themed around The Simpsons, which would be a huge collaboration, and that could line up ideally given the news that Springfield’s famous family is getting a new movie 20 years after their first.
Those leaks have proven to be accurate so far, as they stated that the season to follow the Star Wars Galactic Battle would be Superhero themed, followed by a Bug Invasion theme in Chapter 6, Season 4—which were spot on.
After those leaks, teases began to appear in-game, notably including a poster advertising pink-iced doughnuts—the favorite food of Homer himself.
