After the original game, The Outer Worlds 2 is looking to really take up all of our time as we work on fighting back against various corporations overstepping their bounds on everyday life (kind of hits too close to home these days).
Here is how to get The Outer Worlds 2 early access and the exact times and date you can start playing early.
How to Get Early Access in The Outer Worlds 2
To start playing The Outer Worlds 2 early, you must buy the premium edition of the game. In the United States, it costs $99.99.
After purchasing the premium edition, you will be able to start your journey in the game five days before anyone else who bought the standard edition or is playing the game on Game Pass. If you are playing on Game Pass, you can purchase the upgrade to the premium edition for $29.99 without needing to fully buy the game.
The expanded price is not for the early access alone. If you decide to get this version, you are also going to get the Moon Man’s Corporate Appreciation Premium Prize Pack, which is a gear pack that comes with some in-game items. You will also be able to download two future DLC expansions without needing to spend in the future and get access to a digital artbook and soundtrack for the game.
If all of that content seems worth an extra $30, you can jump into the game earlier than others and get ready for future DLCs, which, if they are anything like the first game’s, will be excellent, and the first one, at least, should be announced sometime in 2026. The premium edition will not give you access to those packs early when they come out, though.
When Does Early Access Start in The Outer Worlds 2?
Early access for The Outer Worlds 2 will begin on October 24 at 12 AM ET, according to the PlayStation Store page for the premium edition.
