Little Nightmares 3 shows the series has grown beyond its cult-like following roots and is now a bona fide horror franchise with a loyal following. Let’s see if the series rewards its player base by making the Little Nightmares 3 price reasonable.
The game’s pre-release trailers and footage show Little Nightmares 3 to be ambitious and animalistic in its intention to freak you out. With new protagonists, a fresh developer (the team behind Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology), and more puzzles and peril, there’s a lot to be excited about with Little Nightmares 3.
It’s the biggest game yet. It also naturally begs the question of whether more content and cutting-edge precision have come at the cost of being more expensive.
How Much is Little Nightmares 3?

Little Nightmares 3 has an RRP of $39.99 or £34.99, making it more expensive than the second game.
It turns out that quality and quantity do demand more. Little Nightmares 2’s base game was $29.99 and £24.99. There’s a clear increase in the game’s base value, and adjustments have also been made to the Deluxe Editions.
Having a developer of the stature of Supermassive Games does elevate Little Nightmares 3. Again, from what we’ve seen so far, it looks polished and ready to take the franchise to a new level of discomfort and delight.
Does Little Nightmares 3 Have A Demo?
If you’re unsure about Little Nightmare 3’s price tag, you might be pleased to know there’s a free Necropolis demo you can download from all of the game’s available release platforms.
Demos used to be commonplace: From discs attached to monthly gaming magazines to free downloads on stores. They’re potentially not seen as viable or cost-effective as they used to be, which is why fewer games have free demos, allowing you to try before you buy.
Whether you’ve enjoyed previous Little Nightmares games but not been overly sold on them, or you’re on the fence about the price increase, we recommend you try out Little Nightmares 3’s ‘Necropolis’ demo.
Little Nightmares 3 is moving closer to that fine line between indie and an AA title. Have you had a chance to play the demo yet? What have you made of the other two Little Nightmares games?
