As is the case with just about any game that releases on Xbox, we are asking the question: Will Little Nightmares 3 be coming to Game Pass?
The release date is fast approaching, but if you want to jump into the new horror game, do you have to pay full price, or can you save a little money while still experiencing the full game?
Here is the answer to whether you can expect Little Nightmares 3 on Xbox Game Pass either at launch or someday in the future.
Can You Play Little Nightmares 3 on Xbox Game Pass?
Little Nightmares 3 is not currently planned to be on Xbox Game Pass.
When the game releases, the only way to play it is to purchase it outright. Before sales, the game costs $40 for the standard edition, or $60 for the deluxe. While you will have to put some money down to play it, these are not terrible prices these days when you consider a lot more games are starting at $70 and starting to reach into $80.
Before you go buying the game, consider seeing if an online friend would like to purchase it as well and join you in the adventure. If you’d rather play it solo like the older games, that is also available.
Will Little Nightmares 3 Ever Come to Xbox Game Pass?
While there is no official announcement for Little Nightmares 3 coming to Game Pass, that doesn’t mean it will never happen.
At the time of the new title’s release, the previous entry, Little Nightmares 2, was added to the service just three months before Little Nightmares 3 released. Additionally, while the original game never came to Game Pass as of this writing, it was part of Games with Gold, so many players got to download the game to their digital library forever. If you have never played either of these games, we highly recommend them.
Essentially, what we are saying is that there is a history of Little Nightmares games and Xbox playing together nicely. That does not mean it is a guarantee that Little Nightmares 3 will be added to the subscription service one day, but if it’s like its predecessor, it could potentially be available in either four years or just before Little Nightmares 4 comes out.
