Poised to be one of the biggest releases of the year, Battlefield 6’s release date is right around the corner, and the start times are also known ahead of launch.
Coming four years after Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 6 has caught the eye and certainly has the potential to put pressure on long-term rivals Call of Duty, having significantly eclipsed the beta player numbers compared to its rival.
Excitement for Battlefield 6 continues to rise but, depending on where you are located in the world, you may have to wait longer than you initially thought.
When is Battlefield 6 Coming Out?

Battlefield 6 will be released on October 10 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
There are no delays for the release date and the game has gone gold, with some players already receiving physical editions of the title, and EA is ready to capitalize on the huge amount of excitement that was built in the Open Beta earlier this year.
With the title releasing over a month before rivals Call of Duty drop Black Ops 7, there’s plenty of time to sink into the title, though the start time depends on where you are located in the world.
Do we Know The Battlefield 6 Start Time?
Store listings have confirmed that Battlefield 6 will be available to play from 8 AM PT on October 10, so you’ll have to wait until later in the day if you’re located elsewhere in the world.
The PlayStation Store confirms the start times, and there is no staggered release like there is for other titles. This means that everyone across the globe will dive in at the same moment, which could lead to server stress and latency issues.
Due to this, it’s highly recommended that you preload Battlefield 6 onto your PC or console before launch, so that you’re not battling with thousands of other gamers worldwide trying to download the title when the doors open.
The table below shows the Battlefield 6 start times in major time zones across the world, so you can prepare to deploy.
| Time Zone | Battlefield 6 Start Time |
|---|---|
| Pacific Time (PT) | 8 AM – Oct. 10 |
| Central Time (CT) | 10 AM – Oct. 10 |
| Eastern Time (ET) | 11 AM – Oct. 10 |
| British Summer Time (BST) | 4 PM – Oct. 10 |
| Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) | 1 AM – Oct. 11 |
