Amazon Adding 12 Free Games For Prime Members To Claim In July

Amazon Prime is giving members 12 free games in July to claim and keep forever.

The company announced this week a new collection of games available on Amazon Luna Cloud Gaming. Formerly known as Prime Gaming, this month’s list of games features three games available today with nine more to come throughout the rest of July.

The biggest game on the list is Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga, a game with a generally favorable rating on Metacritic. The other two games available now are CyClones and LoneStar.

To claim the games, visit the Amazon Luna site and log in. After you claim the games, you’ll be given a code for various storefronts. All you have to do is redeem them in the proper store, and the games are yours to keep forever.

As always, the games are for PC only. You can check out the full list of games below, and let us know which titles stick out to you this month in the comments and over in the official Insider Gaming Discord.

What Is Amazon Luna?

Amazon Luna is the company’s cloud gaming service. It allows you to play several games right in your browser with no downloads. While plenty of games are available as part of an Amazon Prime subscription, there is a Luna Premium subscription for $10 per month that gives players a larger library of games.

The free games are a rotating catalog of games for subscribers. Unlike services like Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, once you claim a game to download, it’s yours to keep even if you cancel your Prime membership.
