All LEGO Fortnite Expeditions Hero Classes, Explained

New adventures await in the world of LEGO Fortnite, with LEGO Fortnite Expeditions providing a four-player co-operative PVE experience, with three Hero Classes to choose from.

LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is the third LEGO mode introduced by Epic Games, following Odyssey and Brick Life, though the co-operative approach is a new concept compared to those modes.

Choosing the right Hero Class for you is a crucial choice in Expeditions, so we’ve got the details on each to help you settle on the right fit.

At launch, there are three Hero Classes available in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions, which you can freely switch between to progress each one individually.

Completing missions and defeating enemies provides Hero XP, levelling up the Hero Class currently being used and unlocking skill points to spend on Hero Upgrades.

We’ve got a breakdown on each of the Hero Classes below.

Shadow Caller

Flying is the biggest strength of Shadow Callers in Expeditions, with the main attack being a Command Shadow ability that summons a projectile that deals explosive damage and heals allies within the detonation radius.

When escape is necessary, use Shadow Form to transform into a flock of invulnerable ravens for a quick exit.

In the upgrade tree, options are available to enhance the class as you wish, like boosting damage output or forming the ideal support for your hero.

The Hunter

The Hunter is a class that thrives in dealing a high amount of damage to a single target, utilizing the Grappler to close the distance for attack.

The Bull’s-eye Blade marks enemies to multiply damage and makes attacks from you and your teammates more accurate, opening the door for your party to capitalize and dish out damage of their own.

There’s also the Hunter’s Trap Dodge that deals damage while interrupting enemy attacks, providing protection while you focus on another enemy, or supporting your teammates.

Rift Ripper

Rift Rippers utilize rifts to unleash damage on enemies, with Rift Shards targeting enemies individually and Rift Crystals available to deal wide-range damage.

While near to Rift Crystals, any Rift Ripper in your party benefits from increased damage and armor, while other classes will also receive smaller buffs.

For aerial vantage, use Rift Jump to reach high places, and call upon Rift Dodge to open rifts and escape from danger, as required.
