LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is a new game mode coming to Fortnite this week and we’ve got all the release details you need.
The original LEGO Fortnite mode, now renamed to LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, was a major hit, though LEGO Fortnite Brick Life failed to capture the same levels of excitement.
The new mode looks to be an intriguing prospect, though, and there isn’t too much longer to wait until you can dive into the new experience.
LEGO Fortnite Expeditions Release Date

LEGO Fortnite Expeditions releases to the world on Wednesday, June 18, as the third Epic-made LEGO experience in Fortnite.
No official release time has been announced for LEGO Fortnite Expeditions; however, there is a fairly standard release window for updates in Fortnite that we expect to remain in place.
Fortnite’s daily updates take place at 4pm PT/6pm CT/7pm ET/12am BST/9am AEST, so the expectation is that a similar release frame will occur for LEGO Fortnite Expeditions.
That will only be the case if there is no server maintenance and downtime for the release, however. If downtime is to occur, servers usually go down at around 1am PT/3am CT/9am ET/5am BST/2pm AEST.
Any downtime will last for a few hours, though there isn’t any news on whether this will take place ahead of the LEGO Fortnite Expeditions launch.
If there is any downtime ahead of the launch of the game mode, we can also expect updates on other modes including Battle Royale and Fortnite Festival.
What is LEGO Expeditions?
LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is a new Epic-made experience in Fortnite, though details on exactly what the mode entails are largely unknown for now.
On X (formerly Twitter), the official LEGO Fortnite account revealed there are three Hero Classes in Expeditions, which you can freely switch between.
So far, we’ve seen Shadow Caller and The Hunter revealed, with the third and final class likely to be revealed today (June 16) as the reveals have taken place every day, so far.
The initial reveal trailer for the mode was mysterious, with a title montage that is eerily similar to the Marvel Studios logo, and showed several characters, with the tease of something “really, really, super.”
Full details on the mode are expected to arrive on June 17 or just before the launch on June 18, so keep your eyes peeled for more news and teasers.
