Marathon Was One Of The Best-Selling Games In March 2026

Marathon was one of the best-selling video games in March 2026 in the United States. On Wednesday, Circna released the best-selling games of the month, and it featured six new releases along with two games returning to the top 20 after previously falling out.

Leading the way was MLB The Show 26. And while digital sales on Nintendo and Xbox weren’t included in the data, it still found its way to the number one spot despite only being on the market for two weeks at the time.

Resident Evil: Requiem, which was February’s best-selling game, fell from first to second this month. In third was WWE 2K26, followed by Bungie’s Marathon at four and Pokémon: Pokopia at five.

The other two new games to reach the Top 20 this month were Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection at seven and Crimson Desert at 15. As far as the two games returning to the Top 20 after previously falling out, those were Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Mario Kart World.

You can check out the full top 20 best-selling games for the month below. And be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below, and in the official Insider Gaming Discord.
