The Flashpoint Update has introduced a new ARC threat to ARC Raiders: the Vaporizer. You might look at it and assume it’s a reskinned Rocketeer, but you’d be gravely mistaken.
Compared to the prior Shrouded Sky update, which added both the Comet and the Firefly, the Vaporizer makes them both look like child’s play. This airborne ARC fires lasers that scorch you alive, and it’s as armoured as a tank, too.
However, if you’re interested in the brand-new ARC Operation, you’re going to have to take them down, so here’s where to find Vaporizers in ARC Raiders, as well as the best ways to kill them.
How To Get Vaporizer Regulators In ARC Raiders
Vaporizer Regulators are a unique drop obtained by killing the new ARC threat, Vaporizers, and you’ll need them to craft the new Legendary Dolabra Shotgun.
The name of the item might have given it away, but just because you know how to get it doesn’t mean it’ll be easy. Vaporizers are no joke, and they might have stolen the Rocketeer’s crown for being one of the deadliest ARC in the game.
These flying, armored foes will chase you with a continuous laser beam that deals heavy burning damage, as well as blast you with concentrated laser bolts from afar. If you’re going to take them on, you’ll need reliable cover, and one that’s big enough to let you escape the flames.

Destroying one does at least follow the pattern of other ARC. You’ll want to aim for the propulsors at each corner, as these keep the ARC airborne. However, unlike other flying ARC, the Vaporizer boasts eight of them, with two per corner. You’ll need your heavy weapons locked and loaded, paired with some precise aim to bring these down quickly.
The worst part? It seems to intercept throwables like Seeker Grenades and Wolfpacks with an energy shield, making it even more difficult to kill. Partner that with the fact that they can spawn in groups, and they’re certainly not an ARC to underestimate.
That being said, there is a small chance you can find Vaporizer Regulators inside ARC Couriers, so if you don’t fancy battling a flying laser beam, try searching some of those instead—you might save yourself some scorch burns.
Where To Find Vaporizers In ARC Raiders
Vaporizers can only be found during the Close Scrutiny Major Map Condition, which is the first ARC Operation added to ARC Raiders.
These elite ARC are powerful for a reason, as you won’t just find them roaming the outskirts of Dam Battlegrounds on their own. Instead, you’ll find them patrolling and guarding the Assessors, the breachable probs that are exclusive to the Close Scrutiny Map Condition.

That means if you want the new Legendary Dolabra Shotgun, you’ll also have to take down a Vaporizer or two, since the Blueprint can only be found inside the Assessors.
