How To Get Firefly Burner In ARC Raiders—Firefly Location, Explained

The Shrouded Sky update has introduced two new ARC threats to ARC Raiders: the Comet and the Firefly. Both of these enemies are equally threatening, but they’re also equally important to the new Project.

The Weather Monitor System has five stages, just like every other Project, but if you want to complete it, you’ll need a Firefly Burner. As you might expect, the Firefly and Firefly Igniter relate to one another in a major way, but it might not be entirely obvious how you can obtain them.

If you’re struggling to find Firefly Burners in ARC Raiders, then you’re in the right place, as Insider Gaming has broken down how to get them, as well as where to find them.

Firefly Burners are a unique drop obtained by killing the new ARC threat, the Firefly.

These pesky flying ARC are very clearly related to the Hornet, but they seem to be much more deadly. It’s covered in armoured plating, and instead of an under-barrel taser, it boasts a flamethrower, thus posing a bigger threat at close range.

If that sounds terrifying, that’s because it is. However, if you want to claim the Firefly Burner for yourself, you’ll have to take down the Firefly before it burns you alive. It’s easy enough, thankfully, as some heavy weapons like the Ferro or Anvil make short work of its armor. Once that’s gone, aim for the thrusters like you would when dispatching Wasps, and it’ll plummet to the ground in no time.

Where To Find A Firefly In ARC Raiders

The Firefly spawns on every map in ARC Raiders, as they join the Hornet and Wasps in their patrols.

Generally speaking, you’ll find a Firefly patrolling topside alongside Wasps and Hornets. They spawn the same way, too, crashing down from orbit and immediately joining the fight.

This makes them a fairly common ARC to find, so you shouldn’t struggle looking for them on your raids. In fact, it can even spawn on Stella Montis, as it will join the roster of Wasps and Hornets that spawn in the more open areas, like the Loading Bay or Lobby.
