At the latest Xbox Partner Preview event, it was announced that Hades 2 is arriving for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, PS5, Xbox Play Anywhere, and Xbox Game Pass on April 14.
Hades 2 is the first-ever sequel from Super Giant Games, where you get to explore a bigger, deeper mythic world as the immortal Princess of the Underworld. Players get to wield legendary weapons from the Greek mythos and use boons to get stronger from a dozen Olympian gods, including Apollo, Zeus, and more.
The title also features a colourful cast, with several returning and new characters. It introduces new locations, challenges, and upgrade systems as you go against the force of Titan of Time. The game also won the ‘Best Game on Steam Deck’ award earlier this year.
In other news, Mewgenics surpassed Hades 2 as the most-played roguelike game of all time earlier this year.
